Professional Credentials

B.A. History, State University of New York at Albany

Personal Statement

My professional interest is using research and writing – primarily history and journalism – to enhance awareness of political and cultural forces that shape, enrich, and often limit people’s lives. I am drawn to telling the stories of controversial individuals and events “hidden from history.”  I am a Portland native, now living in San Francisco.
